Assignment
Pole Cloud started as a bold idea – to create an online platform where pole dance instructors could register, upload their video lessons, and sell them through a subscription-based system. The client came with a clear vision, but the entire digital product needed to be designed and built from the ground up. This included defining the user experience for three different roles: public users (students), instructors, and administrators.
Our task was to create a modern, intuitive interface that would serve all target groups seamlessly. The platform had to include payment integration via Stripe, video hosting through Vimeo, and an automated system for subscription management and access control to paid content. Additionally, the project required marketing integrations with Instagram and Ecomail, custom dashboards for instructors, automated payout reporting, and a way for instructors to upload their invoices directly into the system.
Solution
We designed and developed a robust and scalable platform tailored for the unique needs of the pole dance community. The public-facing part of the website offers an engaging and user-friendly experience for visitors looking to explore and subscribe to lessons. The instructor dashboard enables easy video uploads, lesson management, performance tracking, and invoice handling.
Stripe integration handles all subscription payments securely, with automated control of access based on active subscriptions. Lessons are hosted on Vimeo with secure embedding and playback, ensuring high performance and protection against unauthorized access. Admins have access to a custom backend where they can manage users, verify instructor accounts, monitor performance, and generate reports.
Marketing tools like Instagram feeds and Ecomail synchronization were seamlessly integrated to support outreach and newsletters. The result is a feature-rich, well-structured platform that empowers instructors to monetize their content and build their personal brand, while offering a premium experience to end users.
